Guest speaker will be John Walsh of "America's Most Wanted". He is also responsible for development of the nationwide "Amber Alert" system, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Adam Walsh Children and Protection Safety Act of 2006.

Lowell's ACRYLIC PAINTING ON GICLÉE CANVAS will be available through silent auction. It is hoped that this work will be a big benefit to this vital cause.

LOCAL ARTIST DONATES PAINTING TO HIBISCUS CHILDREN'S CENTER CHARITY AUCTION

Lowell Fox, a local Indian River County artist who's paintings are in many private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico has donated his painting "Ocean Canopy", a view of the Ocean Grill and the Atlantic in Vero Beach to charity. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, Le Museé des Beaux-Arts de Montréal and is a graduate from The Ontario College of Art.

The gala charity auction will be held at The Vero Beach Museum Of Art on Saturday, December 9th.

Fox also donated a painting last year for this cause at the "Puttin' On The Ritz" auction, entitled "Wabasso Bait Shop". This painting, now in a private collection, has been featured on television and became his most popular selling giclée print (repro-duction limited edition). The

painting was the highest bid painting offered that night, and Fox states "I was just so pleased to be able to help this worthwhile cause."

Fox is known for his paintings of the local scene of The Treasure and Space Coasts: the Beach, the Plaza Theatre, the Sebastian Tiki Bar, the Barber Bridge, Cunningham's Pool Hall, the Riverside Café, the Stick Marsh and many more. His paintings are reproduced under his supervision and available as limited edition giclée prints. Of his work, he says he paints "scenes of landmark buildings, music abstracted, pool halls, dives, marsh landings, barrier islands, locals, tourists, kids, moms ...the waterfront".

Limited Edition Giclée prints, signed in an edition of 195 are available from the artist's studio directly.
