I could see there was something not right, expressed in the way you painted them. Aspects of the sub-jects persona had been blotted out. And they almost looked beautiful but their poses and expressions were not overly appealing making them look nearly the same as everyone else but not quite; and I ended up feeling a bit bothered, un- comfortable and then sad. I'm used to seeing gorgeousness. I'm often sent romantic poems as well as write them, so it was good to get me thinking like this.
